Born in springfield – 1986 (proud millennial), went to Nixa High school, home of Jason Bourne (look it up). I was a hoodlum in high school.
Very mediocre grades, little to no future
In and out of college
Until i met my lovely wife 10 years ago.
What does Shaun’s Life look like?
- I am a proud Millennial
- I am a father to a 2 year old boy
- I am a husband to an insanely smart and talented wife who is currently working for a startup. So i am doing what i can to make sure to split as many duties as i can
- I am a blogger. I have the blog Millennial leader.com
- I used to blog on the TechieTakeover
- I am a push coach both inside my corporate job and out
- I grill about 5 times per week when weather allows. I absolutely love bbq
- I am an avid gamer and video game collector. I have 18 console and i gather more game junk weekly
- I also play games at least once per week. This is one of my recharge times. Right now i am back on WOW for some crazy reason but im looking forward to Shadow of Mordor. I like all things nerdy
- I read comics and books all the time
- My fiction reading is mostly held to comics but the books i read a ton of business or improvement type books
- I brew my own beer and have recently gotten into wine
- I am a scotch drinker. Starting to learn more about single malts and developing my palat
- The family and I travel several times per year. At least 2 major trips per year
- I graduated from Missouri School of Science and Technology with a computer engineering degree and and electrical engineering degree
- I have been in the corporate world for 6 years now and have had 3 promotions and nearly tripled my starting salary
- I now run a development team of 6 and leadership has been my true calling
- I consider my specialties to be with the people i work with. I am a team builder and a coach. That is where my passion truly lies
